Leaving a lasting legacy
We’re always grateful when someone chooses to leave a legacy to Blue Smile in their will.
Legacies enable us to offer children long-term early help in overcoming their fears and worries, preventing their anxieties from escalating into complex and life-long difficulties, and instead, enabling them to achieve happier childhoods and brighter futures.

A legacy maker
Tim, a founder of Blue Smile who was Chair of the charity until 2018 and who is now an Ambassador, has worked in healthcare throughout his career, with an emphasis on providing quality services for children and young people, to enable them to overcome challenges and realise their full potential in life.
Tim explains his inspiration for leaving a gift in his will to Blue Smile:
“I helped to found Blue Smile in response to an outcry from local headteachers about the need for support with emotionally vulnerable pupils. Since then I’ve had the privilege of staying involved in the charity’s work and seeing the success of its one to one arts based therapy and mentoring in Cambridgeshire schools, for children aged between 3 and 13 years old.
Leaving a gift in my will to Blue Smile is my contribution towards safeguarding the continuation of the charity’s important work for future generations. I’ve seen first-hand what a difference the expert, long term help Blue Smile provides can make to children struggling to overcome mental health and emotional wellbeing issues, enabling them to thrive, learn and live happier lives. I hope others will join me in leaving a gift in their Will to Blue Smile too.”
